🇳🇴 Ultra-Marathon #12, Country 12/50 - Oslo, Norway.

1 min read

Oslo felt alive.

Sun shining.

Blue skies.

Energy everywhere.

The kind of day where it genuinely felt like summer, especially considering the day before I was playing football on the beach.

Country #12 of Run for Voices started in the heart of Oslo, running through the city centre before heading all the way towards Bygdøy along the coastline.

The scenery was incredible from start to finish.

Water. Forest. City skyline.

A perfect contrast between nature and urban life.

30K into the Ultra-Marathon.

From there, the challenge changed.

We headed uphill towards Ekebergparken, climbing over 350 metres of elevation.

That’s where the ultra marathon really started to test the legs.

But this run became something much bigger than just distance.

Around 40 runners joined throughout different parts of the route.

Some came for a few kilometres.

Some stayed much longer.

And some were so moved by the cause behind Run for Voices that they decided to push all the way to the finish line with me.

That’s what this movement is becoming.

More than running.

Connection.

Support.

Shared purpose.

We passed some of Oslo’s most iconic landmarks, including the beautiful Oslo Opera House, alongside the vibrant streets and waterfront areas that make this city so unique.

Every part of the route felt full of life.

And at the finish line?

Hugs.

Smiles.

Emotion.

Inspiration all around.

That’s what Run for Voices is all about.

Country #12 complete.

Another 50K done.

Another unforgettable city.

Next stop: Albania 🇦🇱
