Not every run feels strong.

Some… you just have to get through.

This was one of those.

From the very start, I didn’t feel 100%.Heavy legs. Low energy.

But showing up was never the question.

I started in the heart of Cardiff, from Cardiff Castle, passing by the Principality Stadium, then pushing all the way out to Penarth and Barry.

City to coast.

Flat to hills.

And then back through the countryside… where the real work started.

The climbs hit harder than expected.

The legs didn’t want to respond.

But step by step, we kept moving forward.

Then came a shift.

India, a local runner training for an Ironman, joined for the final stretch.

Energy changed. Momentum came back.

She pushed the pace, showed me around, and reminded me how powerful it is to run with someone who understands the grind.

That’s what this journey is about.

Not perfect runs.

But resilience.

Showing up when it’s hard.

Finishing what you started.

Country #11 complete.

Another 50K done.

Next stop: Oslo, Norway šŸ‡³šŸ‡“.

May 2nd, Country #12 of 50
